History of Aurora Chapter #15 O.E.S.
The Grand Forks Chapter’s original name was Onyx # 12; the charter of Onyx # 12 came from Minot, North Dakota to Grand Forks and was returned to Minot on November 29th 1975.
On November 15th 1975 Aurora Chapter # 15 OES came into existence, it was duly Constituted and inaugurated into the Masonic Family by members of Price Hall Grand Chapter Minnesota Jurisdiction. The first meeting of Aurora Chapter # 15 OES was held on November the 20th 1975 at 7 PM in the Community Hall in Emerado, North Dakota. The original members of the Chapter chose the name Aurora, after considering several suggestions. “AURORA means DAWN.” Aurora Chapter # 15 OES is active and has a membership of 24.
