Greetings:

From Linda Campbell, Worthy Grand Matron of Prince Hall Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Minnesota Jurisdiction.  The Lord is my rock and my salvation.  He has blessed me, and given me the opportunity to serve as Worthy Grand Matron of the best Grand Chapter in the Midwest.  It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve in this capacity.

Aurora Chapter #15 initiated me on 27 March 1993.  Although my chapter is in Grand Forks, North Dakota, my jurisdiction is Minnesota (which also covers Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada).  This is one of the things that make the Minnesota Jurisdiction special.  We are small in comparison to many other jurisdictions, but our reach is long.  Our members are very dedicated and supportive of each other.

During my years as an Eastern Star, I have served in the following positions within my Chapter – Star Point, Marshall, Assoc. Conductress, Conductress, Assoc. Matron and Worthy Matron.  In the Grand Chapter I’ve served as  - Flag Bearer, Star Point, Grand Lecturer, Grand Conductress, Associate Grand Matron, and now as Worthy Grand Matron.  It has been a wonderful and fulfilling experience, one in which I shall always treasure.

My theme is “God helps those who persevere”.  I came up with this as my theme because, God continues to bless the Prince Hall Grand Chapter and we shall continue to persevere in all our endeavors.  As Worthy Grand Matron my intention is to represent the Minnesota Jurisdiction in the tradition of strength, integrity, and dignity.  This is my prayer.
